This year, I came up with an idea to create a personalized package design for my dad. He likes to golf, so I took a golf ball package and redesigned it to make it into a “Father’s day kit”. Here’s the design. Turned out great! Happy Father’s Day, Dad! 🙂
There’s a site dedicated to taking well known brands and turning them into hipsters brands. There is more emphasis on vintage design and typography. I must admit I am loving some of the hipster rebranding. There is a unique sense of style going on. Check out the site.
My Aunt and Uncle just moved into a new house that they designed themselves. To celebrate, my housewarming gift was a cake! I decided to take their house plans and put them on a cake.
The only picture I have was taken with my cell phone.
I was pleased on how it turned out!
For this project, I had to design a new custom bottle for any type of product with a promotion sticker for the Cirque du Soleil. Using Photoshop, here is the 3D Mock-up.
Poster for Cirque Du Soleil. Wish I had set aside more time for this.
Lost Type is a fantasic website that allows you to download fonts. If you haven’t been to this site, I suggest you check it out. They are very selective and beautiful fonts. I have been using this site a lot to find a typeface for a project. You may not be able to choose from 100’s of different ones but these ones to have a certain quality to them.
You can buy them for as much as you want and 100% of the money goes back to the designer of the font. Or you can just hit ‘0’ in the price box and pay nothing.
Check out where these fonts are being used by visiting their blog.
